Thanks for Shopping Small

By Jacquelyn Shuford

Hampden is a unique community. When you walk “the Avenue” you will experience an array of culture, style and language. This small community thinks big by shopping small.

What can you find on your walk? Well there’s wonderful antiques, artwork, books, awesome restaurants offering wonderful vegan meals to delicious seafood, retail businesses showcasing the latest fashion to home décor and outstanding service establishments.

These great offerings are from small businesses who regularly provide top notch customer service, wonderful product diversity, high quality products and are deeply invested in the community.

So, I thank you for shopping small. Whether you live in the community or simply visited for the day. Your patronage is very much appreciated, and I hope to see you at the official Small Business Saturday event which is scheduled for November 28, 2020.
